Junior Drama

Building on Term one, but also suitable for first timers, we will develop character and narrative creation through the use of physical theatre. Students will work from a generic stimulus and be guided through a series of workshops in order to make decisions around staging, casting, performance technologies (costume, makeup, sound) and writing techniques. In preparation for NCEA requirements, students will learn how to collate evidence of their process and learning in a way that suits them. The end result will be a portfolio that is personal to each student.
