Course Description

Explore the social sciences through subjects such as Geography, Social Studies and Religious Studies. Through these subject areas, Ākonga will learn about the cultural environment (people, social ideas and issues) and the natural environment. They will also learn about the interactions between, and changes to, the natural and cultural environments. Ākonga will learn skills such as resource interpretation, literacy skills and research processes to present information. Topics explored will be both global and within New Zealand.
