Graphic Design
Although next year timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January.
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms A. Scott.
In this course you will learn the conventions of Graphic Design such as Illustration, digital photography, creative typography, handmade and computer generated drawing to solve problems and communicate ideas.
This class uses the 24inch Wacom cintiqs and the Adobe creative suite, in particular Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate. However this is only optional; if you prefer to work by hand that is also an option. The two internals incorporate character design, poster design and logo design. This course can either be independent or part of a whole year course if you choose to do the folio in semester 2. Please note that Year 11 students can take this course and get Level 2 credits.
