Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms R. McGlade.
In a world where we are constantly inundated with information, it’s important to be adept consumers of this knowledge. This means asking questions, conducting our own research and considering the validity of claims before we accept them as truth. Statistics and research methods can help us learn how to interpret and address data and information that we encounter. Data is the new currency and in the course you will learn how to process and interpret different types of data given in different forms. This is a semester course which runs both semesters. However, to complete a Uni circle a full year of study is required. Individual learning profiles with the achievement standards listed below will be negotiated with the teacher at the beginning of the semester.
