Kapa Haka

Although next year timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January.

Course Description

Friday kapa haka is open to junior and senior students following the tuakana teina model. Students will be committed to attend kapa haka for the whole day on Friday, and it is a full year course. Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate, knowledge and skills in the following: mōteatea, waiata-ā-ringa, poi, haka wahine, and karakia. Students will be passionate and totally committed to perform at the highest level. Kia Kaha! Please note that this course runs from period 1 to period 5.
