FINLIT1

Financial Literacy

Although next year timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January.

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms R. McGlade.

Financial Literacy is a course that will help prepare you for the financial decisions and financial traps you will be faced with when leaving school and entering the ‘real world’. This could include creating a personal budget, researching different investment options, evaluating different options to increase your income, banking, insurance, tax, debt and even buying your own home or discussing how Māori values can guide financial decisions.
